ABSTRACT
There are some of skill needed in learning english. One of the difficult skill which
student are not enjoy and intersted is speaking skill. The study explores how short
videos facilitate student speaking activities. The research data uses a qualitative
method. This study use data collection observation and interview. The short video
make the learning speaking skill process more intersting and enjoyable for the
student. The short video provide several things. It will provide example of the
speaking material, exercises and discussing matter which can use it for teacher
observation and take the next step action for their student. The short video can
effect positive student perception of English speaking skill. The teacher should
find the suitable methode for their student to enjoy the learning process. One of
the way use short video to help teacher build up positive student perception in
learning speaking skill.
