This study aims to describe the students’ perception on using canva in
summarizing academic writing. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method
as a framework for analysis and data collection. Data obtained from interviews
and interviews. The participants are five semester 5 students for the 2019/2020
academic year at a private university in Bogor. The findings of this study indicate
students' perceptions of using canva in summarizing academic writing is learning
to use canva as a medium that can motivate students by being able to choose, edit,
and innovate the features in it, especially mind mapping.
