ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prediksi financial distress
dengan menggunakan metode springate (s-score) pada Perusahaan
Perdagangan Besar yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dengan
menggunakan data laporan keuangan dari tahun 2016-2020.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengambilan
sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 9
perusahaan. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan
metode dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan metode
springate dalam memprediksi financial distress menunjukan bahwa terdapat

perusahaan yang diprediksi mengalami kebangkrutan. Sedangkan 2
perusahaan mengalami grey area dan 5 perusahaan lainnya dalam keadaan
sehat. Sedangkan tingkat akurasi dan tipe eror pada metode springate sebesar
77,81?n tipe eror sebesar 22,18%.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the prediction of financial distress by using
the springate (s-score) method in Large Trading Companies Listed on the
Indonesia Stock Exchange using financial report data from 2016-2020.
This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. Sampling using
purposive sampling with a total sample of 9 companies. Methods of data
collection is done by using the method of documentation. The results of the
study using the springate method in predicting financial distress showed that
there were 2 companies that were predicted to experience bankruptcy.
Meanwhile, 2 companies experienced a gray area and 5 other companies
were in good health. While the level of accuracy and error type in the
springate method is 77.81% and the error type is 22.18%.
