Apparently, students of Class VIII A at Junior High School have a good interest in being able to write descriptive text, students find it difficult to convey their ideas in written form. They need teacher stimulation in conveying their ideas. The one of the alternatives to cope with the problem is applying Think-Talk-Write strategy. This technique could assist the students in creative descriptive writing. The aims of this study were: (1) to know the implementation of teacher teaching using Think Talk-Write to increase students' writing creativity. (2) To find out the effect strategy of TTW for writing results after taught using the Think Talk Write Technique. The research uses qualitative methods with a case study approach. The subjects of this study were teacher of Class VIII A at Junior High School. The researcher used two types of instruments to collect data, namely observation and interview. The results of this study show that the teacher is good at implementing the Think-Talk-Write strategy, this can be proven by the researcher assessing the steps of applying the TTW method carried out by the teacher using an observation checklist so that students can master 3 aspects in writing descriptive text, namely content, content organization, and descriptive text writing mechanism as well as 2 aspects that must be improved by students, namely vocabulary and language use because they still have limited grammar and vocabulary knowledge.
