World Health
Organization (WHO) memperkirakan insiden Infeksi Saluran Pernapasan Akut
responden berpengetahuan kurang baik. Sedengkannya yang terpapar media
tentang ISPA, menonton televise 61%, melihat YouTube 53%, membuka internet
penyuluhan tentang pencegahan ISPA.

Toddlers are very susceptible to this ISPA due to the body's not strong
immunity and many other factors. The World Health Organization (WHO)
estimates the incidence of Acute Respiratory Infection in developing countries
with a toddler mortality rate above 40 by 1000 live births is 15%-20% per year at
the age of five.
This research uses quantitative methods with research instruments in the
form of questionnaires and cross-sectional research designs with univariate
analysis methods. Population of 3,340 mothers in Sibanteng Village, the number
of samples studied as many as 100 mothers.
The results showed that as much knowledge as mothers who have toddlers
in Sibanteng Village, namely 39% of respondents are knowledgeable, and 61% of
respondents are not well-informed. While those who are exposed to the media
about ARI, watching television 61%, viewing YouTube 53%, opening the internet
37%, opening social networks 49%, and opening Instagram 33%.
Thus, the mother's knowledge will be binding when exposed to electronic media,
print, and public education. There are needs to be intervention from the
Puskesmas to take initial actions such as socialization or counseling on the
prevention of ARI.
