Pemberian Makanan Pendamping ASI (MP-ASI) pada bayi usia kurang
dari 6 bulan merupakan penyebab utama mordibitas dan mortalitas di dunia. Di dunia
terdapat 1-1,5 juta bayi meninggal setiap tahunnya karena tidak mendapat ASI
Eksklusif (WHO 2013). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui gambaran
kepercayaan ibu dalam pemberian makanan pendamping ASI pada bayi usia kurang
dari 6 bulan di Desa Leuwibatu Kecamatan Rumpin Kabupaten bogor bulan
september tahun 2017.
Rancangan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Populasi dalam
penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu bayi di Desa Lewibatu. Sampel dalam penelitian ibu
yang memiliki bayi usia 6 bulan. dengan teknik sampling yaitu purposive sampling.
Alat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pedoman wawancara. Dan cara
analisa data menggunakan prosedur chek ulang (rechacking) secara cermat. Hasil
penelitian di dapatkan gambaran kepercayaan pemberian MP-ASI pada bayi usia
kurang dari 6 bulan yaitu sebagian besar sudah mendapatkan MP-ASI sebelum usia 6
bulan dan jenis makanan yang pertama kali di berikan yaitu pisang dan madu.
Pengetahuan mengenai bahaya MP-ASI juga kurang sehingga masyarakat tetap
mengikuti tradisi nenek moyang atau kebiasaan orang jaman dahulu.
Dalam penelitian ini yaitu di lihat pada variabel jenis MP-ASI yaitu bayi
pertama kali diberi makanan pisan,bubur susu dan madu, berdasarkan pengetahuan
lebih banyak ibu tidak mengetahui bahaya pemberian MP-ASI dini,di lihat dari
variabel usia bayi sebagian besar memberikan MP-ASI sejak lahir sampai usia 5
bulan,dan dilihat dari variabel kepercayaan masyarakat tetap mengikuti tradisi nenek
moyang atau kebiasaan orang jaman dahulu. Saran yang dapat di berikan untuk
posyandu Desa Leuwibatu dapat dijadikan masukan dalam rangka menyusun
perencenaan program kesehatan pada bayi khususnya bayi yang diberikan MP-ASI
dini.

The giving feeding of BREAST MILK (MP-ASI) in infants less then age 6
months mordibitas and is the main cause of mortality in the world. In the world there
is 1-1.5 million babies die every year because it did not receive Exclusive BREAST
MILK (WHO 2013). The aim of this research are the describing of the beliefs of the
complementary feeding BREAST MILK in infants aged 0-6 months in the village of
Leuwibatu Sub-district Rumpin District, bogor september 2017.
The design on this research is qualitative research. The population in this
research is all over the baby's mother in the village of Lewibatu of the number of
informants is certain people that comply with the requirements as an informant. The
sample in the study of mothers who have baby 0-6 months of age who lives in the
village of Leuwibatu with the sampling technique that is purposive sampling. Tools
used in this study i.e. guidance interview. And how to analyze data using the
procedure of re-chek (rechacking) carefully. Research results in the get picture Trust
grant of MP-ASI at the baby Moon 0-6 usi i.e. most already get MP-ASI before the
age of 6 months and the kind of food that was first given i.e. bananas and honey.
Knowledge on the dangers of MP-ASI is also less so that people still follow the
tradition of the ancestors or the custom of the people of antiquity.
In this study that is seen on the variable type MP-ASI namely baby first food
given the pisan, porridge of milk and honey, based on the knowledge of many more
mothers are unaware of the dangers of granting early MP-ASI, in view of the
variable age baby most great give away MP-BREAST MILK from birth to the age of
5 months, and judging from the variable trust community stay abreast of ancestral
traditions or habits of those ancient times. Advice that can be given for the Leuwibatu
village of posyandu can be used as input in order to compile the program
perencenaan health in infants especially infants given MP-ASI early.
