Booktrack was a multi-purpose tool (E-Book and Audio-Book), it could be
used as media in language teaching and learning to build students better
comprehend, comfortable and increase their reading process by listening to sound,
music, and ambient noise embedded in a Booktrack. This study aimed at to find
out the process of integrating Booktrack into online extensive reading activities on
EFL students and as well as students? respond toward it. A case study design as
part of qualitative research was employed in this study. The data were collected
through online observation, online questionnaire, and instant messaging interview.
The participants of this study were a class of ten grades students in one of senior
high school in Bogor. The findings revealed that Booktrack was support in
teaching-learning extensive reading. There were four activities found in the
integration. All the activities lead to the integration Booktrack by giving students
reading assignment. The integration of Booktrack into online extensive reading
activities enhanced students? reading attitude, reading comprehension, and
vocabulary learning. Overall the data results, the integration of Booktrack could
be used to support in teaching and learning reading, especially in extensive reading.
