ABSTRACT

This research investigates the use of classroom activities employed by a foreign
English teacher in the Thai ELT classroom. A Case Study was chosen as the
research design and involved I foreign English teacher that teaches English in
Thai as a research participant. To get the the researcher used the document,
photovoice, and interview guidelines as a research instrument. The results of this
study indicate that: 1) classroom activities provide a atmosphere, learning
joyfully, and could enhance student's motivation in learning activity, 2) the
majority of teacher's perception was positive. it showed that the varieties of
classroom activities such as song, game, storytelling, and describing picture
provide many benefits to the students such as enhancing student's language skills
(Listening and speaking ) even vocabularies. As a consequent, by using the
varieties of classroom activities and teaching tools for Thai students, with the
profile Of foreign English teacher that had a good interpersonally, are able in four
language skills; and knowledge in teacher's competencies, Thai students has an
improvement in their language skills such as listening and speaking skills.
