Abstrak
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh belum dikembangkannya Lembar Kerja Peserta
Didik (LKPD) berbasis pendidikan karakter rasa ingin tahu pada mata pelajaran
Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) ditingkat SD/MI. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD
Negeri Laladon 01 dengan subjek penelitian yaitu kelas IV dengan menggunakan
skala kecil yang berjumlah 10 siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui
efektivitas pengembangan LKPD dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik
bermuatan pendidikan karakter rasa ingin tahu. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan
adalah metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model Borg and Gall
yang dikembangkan oleh Sugiyono. Terdiri dari 8 tahapan pengembangan yaitu 1)
poetensi dan masalah, 2) pengumpulan data, 3) desain produk, 4) validasi desain,
5) perbaikan desain, 6) uji coba produk, 7) revisi produk, 8) uji coba terbatas. Pada
penelitian ini teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket atau yakni angket
untuk validasi ahli materi, desain, bahasa, guru dan peserta didik. Teknik analisis
menggunakan statistik deskripsif berupa presentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan
bahwa keseluruhan komponen implementasi pendidikan karakter rasa ingin tahu
melalui LKPD IPA dinyatakan “sangat valid” oleh ahli materi dengan presentase
96,25% , ahli desain termasuk dalam katergori “sangat valid” dengan presentase
94%, ahli bahasa termasuk kategori “sangat valid” dengan presentase 99%, serta
respon peserta didik termasuk dalam kategori ”sangat baik” dengan presentase
84,5% . Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan
perangkat implementasi pendidikan karakter rasa ingin tahu melalui Lembar Kerja
Peserta Didik (LKPD) dengan materi hubungan antara gaya dan gerak benda
dikatakan “sangat baik” digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA di SD Negeri Laladon
01.

Development of Student Worksheets (LKPD) Based on Curiosity Character
Education in Class IV Science Subjects at SD Negeri Laladon 01

Abstract

This research was motivated by the undeveloped Student Worksheet (LKPD) based
on curiosity character education in Natural Sciences (IPA) at the SD/MI level. This
research was conducted at SD Negeri Laladon 01 with the research subject being
class IV using a small scale of 10 students. The purpose of this study was to
determine the effectiveness of LKPD development in improving student learning
outcomes with the character of curiosity education. The research method used is the
Research and Development (R&D) method with the Borg and Gall model
developed by Sugiyono. Consists of 8 stages of development, namely 1) potential
and problems, 2) data collection, 3) product design, 4) design validation, 5) design
improvement, 6) product testing, 7) product revision, 8) limited trial. In this study,
the data collection technique used a questionnaire or questionnaire for validation of
material, design, language, teacher and student experts. The analysis technique uses
descriptive statistics in the form of percentages. The results showed that the overall
components of the implementation of curiosity character education through the IPA
LKPD were declared "very valid" by material experts with a percentage of 96.25%,
design experts included in the "very valid" category with a percentage of 94%,
linguists included in the "very valid" category. valid" with a percentage of 99%,
and student responses included in the "very good" category with a percentage of
84.5%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the development
of a tool for implementing curiosity character education through the Student
Worksheet (LKPD) with the material the relationship between force and motion of
objects is said to be "very good" used in science learning at SD Negeri Laladon 01.
