ABSTRACT
The application of the Blended Learning model in learning activities at college
shows a positive increase in learning outcomes (Driscol, 2002). Blended learning
is a combination or combination of online learning, offline learning, and face-to
face learning, in offline learning participants can operate the learning sequence even
though they are not connected to the internet through the application program. The
purpose of this research is to find out as well as possible the benefits and obstacles
in the use of blended learning so that its use can be carried out optimally.
Researchers used observations and interviews as research instruments in collecting
data. The participants in this study were four students of a writing class at the
University in Bogor. Based on research, it is proven that blended learning has a
positive influence and great benefits for the world of education such as providing
flexibility to students in choosing the time and place to access learning materials
and is effective for improving learning outcomes for most students in increasing
student involvement and also student enthusiasm in learning.
