Title : Learning Speaking through Storytelling

Abstract

This research describes about learning speaking through storytelling. The objectives of this research are to find out how is the implementation of learning speaking through storytelling and how is the students responses’ toward learning speaking through storytelling. The subjects of this research are the thirty of students XII class of IPA III in SMAN Rancabungur 01 Bogor. The data of this research are collected through observation and interview. Data analysis procedure in this research are divided into two phases: observation and interview. Then the data are analyzed by qualitative method. The result of this research indicates the implementation of learning speaking through storytelling are implemented by the teacher. And the result of this research indicates the students responses’ toward learning speaking through storytelling are 96% that the students said learning speaking through storytelling make the learning more interesting, than 96% of students thought that learning speaking through storytelling can improve their speaking skill. Its means that the students responses’ toward learning speaking through storytelling at class IPA III in SMAN Rancabungur 01 Bogor is good.
