Booktrack was e-book and audiobook which contextual soundtracks can help
students better comprehend text and increase engagement of reading. This
research is aimed to find out students’ responses on reading through Booktrack.
The research design applied in this research was qualitative research. This
research was conducted in SMKN 4 Bogor. The respondence of this research was
tenth grade consisted thirty one students. To collect and analyze the data, the
reasearcher gained information from observation, questionnaire and interview.
The finding of this research describes students’ response towards the use of
Booktrack. The students are eager to learn reading through booktrack and students
assume that using Booktrack helped them to increased their reading skill, enrich
vocabulary, imagined into the book, increased reading speed, students' motivated
interest in reading, students enjoyed and felt easy to used Booktrack in reading
activity. Based on the result of the research, Booktrack contributes to English
learning. It recommended that english teachers and students should use Booktrack
as one of good media in teaching and learning reading.
