TERHADAP PENGGUNAAN ALAT PELINDUNG DIRI (APD)
DI RS SALAK BOGOR TAHUN 2017

Laboratorium klinik di rumah sakit merupakan salah satu fasilitas medik yang disediakan sebagai penunjang diagnosis penyakit. Petugas laboratorium mempunyai risiko terpapar bahaya biologis seperti virus dan bakteri. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya pengendalian untuk melindungi pekerja dari risiko tertular penyakit. Salah satu caranya dengan menggunakan alat pelindung diri. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh informasi Gambaran Kepatuhan Petugas Laboratorium Terhadap Penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri di RS Salak Bogor.

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode wawancara terstruktur, observasi dan telaah dokumen langsung di lapangan untuk menganalisis Gambaran Tingkat Kepatuhan petugas laboratorium, pengetahuan, sikap, ketersediaan Alat pelindung diri, pelatihan, pengawasan serta peraturan mengenai Alat Pelindung Diri di Rumah Sakit dengan jumlah informan sebanyak 10 informan.

Kepatuhan ini diukur dari hasil observasi terhadap penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri, petugas dikatakan patuh apabila sudah lengkap memakai Alat Pelindung Diri yang diwajibkan saat bekerja dan tidak patuh apabila tidak lengkap memakai Alat Pelindung Diri yang diwajibkan saat bekerja. Berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan pada semua informan didapatkan hasil bahwa terdapat beberapa sebagian informan yang masih tidak patuh dalam menggunakan Alat Pelindung Diri pada saat bekerja, ketersediaan alat pelindung diri kurang lengkap, tidak adanya pelatihan mengenai alat pelindung diri serta pengawasan yang kurang optimal.

Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kepatuhan petugas dalam penggunaan alat pelindung diri kurang baik dikarenakan tidak adanya pelatihan khusus penggunaan alat pelindung diri, ketersediaan alat pelindung diri kurang lengkap serta pengawasan yang kurang optimal.

A clinic laboratory at the hospital is one of the medical research facility provided a supporting the diagnosis of disease. Laboratory personnel are at risk of being exposed to biological factors, namely viruses and bacteria. Therefore, control efforts are needed to protect workers from the effects of transmission of the disease, one of which is by using self personal protective equipment. This research is to obtain information on the level of compliance of laboratory staff on the use of personal protective equipment at the SALAK Bogor Hospital.

The kind of research this is the qualitative study descriptif with the method the objective of the interview structured, observation and review of documention of the field to analyze the description of the level of compliance of laboratory staff on the use of personal protective equipment in hospitals with a total of 10 informants.

This compliance is measured by the attitude of using Personal Protective Equipment, the officer is said to be obedient when it is complete to use Personal Protective Equipment which is required when working and is not compliant if it is not complete using Personal Protective Equipment which is required when working.

Based on observation that be paru and starting on the ciurages in the fidure all informants shows that of the index points to some informants who are still not pardon for them if in the use of self protection on while I was working, the availability of self protection were incomplete, the absence of training on self protection as well as supervision over the implementation is less than optimal.

The conclusion of this study is the compliance of officers in the use of personal protective equipment is not good because there is no special training in the use of personal protective equipment, the availability of incomplete personal protective equipment and less optimal supervision.
