This study explores students' perspectives on Dialogic Learning (DL) implemented through Collaborative Learning (CL) in Indonesia higher education. The research employed a qualitative case study approach in which the data were collected from questionnaires and interviews with eight students enrolled in an English Education program. The findings highlighted the perceived benefits of DL via CL, including enhanced critical thinking, communication, cooperation, subject matter comprehension and speaking skills. However, challenges such as imbalanced participation, communication difficulties, and mismatched abilities were also identified. The analysis revealed alignment between students' perspectives and the seven principles of DL, fostering a student-centered learning environment. Similarly, student experiences with CL aligned with the characteristics of DL implementation. The study suggests that DL via CL holds a promise for Indonesian higher education, but overcoming implementation challenges is crucial. Further research is recommended to explore the long-term impact of DL via CL and the role of technology in facilitating its implementation.
