Abstak
This study aims to determine teachers' perceptions of the implementation of the
2013 curriculum for teaching English. This study used data from two English
teachers at SMPN 01 Kemang. This study uses a qualitative research design in the
form of a case study. Data collection techniques were carried out by conducting
interviews. It was also found that the teachers have implemented the curriculum
2013, especially the process standard and content standard. The finding is In
reflection the teacher can find out students' interest in participating in learning
activities, measure the application of models, methods, strategies, and learning
techniques, identify and evaluate what the teacher has done in delivering material.
The teachers can improve better learning designs for subsequent learning,
understand the weaknesses or deficiencies of a lesson and can make teaching and
learning activities more effective in future learning.
