FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PEMBERIAN ASI EKSKLUSIF DI
WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS SINDANG BARANG

ASI eksklusif adalah pemberian ASI saja tanpa makanan dan minuman tambahan lain pada
bayi yang berumur 0-6 bulan, tanpa adanya cairan atau makanan padat lain kecuali mineral,
vitamin dan obat dalam bentuk pemberian secara oral, tetes atau sirup. Tujuan penelitian ini
adalah untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemberian ASI eksklusif di
Puskesmas Sindang Barang Bogor.
Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu menyusui yang mempunyai bayi usia 6-12 bulan
yang berada di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sindang Barang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam
penelitian ini menggunakan accidental sampling. Jumlah sample sebanyak 78 sampel.
Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat dan analisis bivariat dengan
menggunakan uji Chi-Square.
Berdasarkan hasil uji Chi-Square menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan
dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif yaitu: pengetahuan (P= 0,000), persepsi (P = 0,016),
dukungan keluarga (P = 0.000), dan status ekonomi (P = 0,000). Kesimpulan dan saran:
pemberian ASI eksklusif pada anak umur 6-12 bulan dipengaruhi oleh rendahnya
pengetahuan ibu, persepsi ibu menyusui, dukungan keluarga dan status ekonomi.

ABSTRACT
FACTORS AFFECTING EXCLUSIVE BREASTFEEDING IN THE WORK AREA
OF THE SINDANG BARANG HEALTH CENTER

Exclusive breastfeeding is breastfeeding only, without other additional food and drinks for
babies aged 0-6 months, without the presence of liquids or other solid foods except minerals,
vitamins and drugs in the oral, drops or syrup. Breastfeeding is a complex food for babies that
is very useful, supports the growth of a child. The purpose of this study was to analyze the
factors that influence exclusive breastfeeding at the Puskesmas Sindang Barang Bogor.
The population is breastfeeding mothers who have babies aged 6-12 months in the working
area of Puskesmas Sindang Barang Bogor. The sampling technique in this study used
accidental sampling. The samples is 78 samples. There are independent variables analyzed,
namely knowledge, perception, family support, and economic status. The data analysis used
was univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square test.
Based on the results of the Chi-Square test, it shows that there is a significant effect on
exclusive breastfeeding, that is: knowledge (P = 0.000), perception (P = 0.016), family support
(P = 0.000), and economic status (P = 0.000). There is an influence between knowledge,
perseption, family support and economic status.
