TEMAN DENGAN PARTISIPASI MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS IBN
KHALDUN BOGOR DALAM KEGIATAN DONOR DARAH TAHUN 2022

Setiap negara membutuhkan cadangan darah yang cukup untuk meminimalisir
kematian akibat kekurangan darah. Ketersediaan darah ditentukan dari partisipasi
masyarakat. Mahasiswa dinilai dapat berperan secara langsung menjadi pendonor
sukarela, mengingat rata-rata usia mahasiswa masuk ke dalam syarat donor darah
yaitu minimal 17 tahun. Adapun partisipasi donor darah di Universitas Ibn Khaldun
pada bulan Februari 2022 sekitar 40 orang dari 6955 mahasiswa (0,6?ri seluruh
mahasiswa aktif) dan yang berhasil mendonorkan darahnya sekitar 24 orang.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan
dengan partisipasi mahasiswa Universitas Ibn Khaldun Bogor dalam kegiatan donor
darah tahun 2022
Jenis penelitian menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional,
dimana populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa S1 Universitas Ibn
Khaldun Bogor yang berjumlah 6955 dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 362
responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode accidental
sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuisioner dengan analisis data
menggunakan uji chi square.
Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa sikap (p=0,007), dukungan keluarga (p=0,016),
dan dukungan teman (p=0,003) memiliki hubungan dengan partisipasi mahasiswa
Universitas Ibn Khaldun dalam kegiatan donor darah sedangkan variabel
pengetahuan (p=0,402), fasilitas (p=0,102), dan aksebilitas (p=0,493) tidak
memiliki hubungan dengan partisipasi mahasiswa Universitas Ibn Khaldun dalam
kegiatan donor darah.
Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini, variabel yang memiliki hubungan dengan partisipasi
mahasiswa dalam kegiatan donor darah yaitu sikap, dukungan keluarga dan
dukungan teman. Disarankan untuk Universitas Ibn Khaldun Bogor agar rutin
menyelenggarakan kegiatan donor darah, serta dapat membentuk komunitas donor
darah dengan tujuan mensosialisasikan gerakan donor darah baik secara langsung
(pemberian brosur) maupun melalui sosial media.

THE RELATIONSHIP OF ATTITUDE, FAMILY SUPPORT, AND
FRIENDS SUPPORT WITH IBN KHALDUN BOGOR UNIVERSITY
STUDENT PARTICIPATION IN BLOOD DONOR ACTIVITIES IN 2022

Every country needs sufficient blood reserves to minimize deaths from lack of
blood. The availability of blood is determined by community participation. Students
are considered to be able to play a direct role as voluntary donors, considering that
the average age of students entering the blood donor requirement is at least 17 years.
The participation of blood donors at Ibn Khaldun University in February 2022 was
about 40 people from 6955 students (0.6% of all active students) and around 24
people who managed to donate blood. The purpose of this study was to determine
the factors related to the participation of Ibn Khaldun University students in Bogor
in blood donation activities in 2022
This type of research uses quantitative research with a cross sectional design, where
the population of this study is all undergraduate students of Ibn Khaldun University,
Bogor, totaling 6955 with a total sample of 362 respondents with the sampling
technique using the accidental sampling method. The research instrument uses a
questionnaire with data analysis using the chi square test.
The results showed that attitudes (p = 0.007), family support (p = 0.016), and friend
support (p = 0.003) had a relationship with the participation of Ibn Khaldun
University students in blood donation activities while the knowledge variable (p =
0.402), facilities ( p=0.102), and accessibility (p=0.493) had no relationship with
the participation of Ibn Khaldun University students in blood donation activities.
The conclusion of this study, variables that have a relationship with student
participation in blood donation activities are attitudes, family support and friend
support. It is recommended for Ibn Khaldun University Bogor to regularly organize
blood donor activities, and to form a blood donor community with the aim of
socializing the blood donation movement either directly (giving brochures) or
through social media.
