The study aims to explore the students responses on the use of Spotify as a learning
media for EFL students listening activities. This study using qualitative case study
design as a method. There were five university students of sixth semester engaged in
the study who were familiar in using Spotify in listening activities. It’s proves with the
students showed up the recent played in Spotify. There were two instruments used
which are open-ended questionnaire and interview. The data shows that most of the
students get many benefits from using Spotify for language learning, such as learn more
vocabulary, found right pronunciation, and confidence in Speaking English. It is
suggested that for further study who are conducting research that is in line with this
research to discuss other things as well, such as students' perspectives, perceptions, or
experiences regarding the use of MALL in learning, and also being able to use other
applications that allow for language learning.
