Speaking skills is one of the most difficult skills in learning English that must be
mastered by the students. TikTok as the most popular online platforms today is can
be one of learning tools to help students improve their speaking skills. This study
aims to find out the impact of using TikTok duet feature on enhancing students
speaking skills as well as the students perspective of using TikTok as a medium for
learning speaking. As a research design, this study used qualitative approach focused
on a case study 2.0 framework for collecting and analyzing the data. The
questionnaires and interviews were used for the data collection procedures. The
participants for this study was 20 students from English Education Department in
Bogor, West Java. The results of this study found that there were three impacts of
using TikTok duet feature to enhance students speaking skills; pronunciation and
accent, vocabulary, and imitating language expression. This study also found the
students’ engagement; students’ cognitive, students’ affective, and students’ behavior
in learning speaking using TikTok as a medium for learning speaking.
