Disiplin dalam melakukan kegiatan shalat dhuha merupakan hal yang
penting bagi perkembangan peserta didik, terutama dalam urusan beribadah agar
peserta didik terbiasa melakukan kegiatan shalat dhuha sehingga menjadikannya
disiplin dari sejak dini agar masa dewasanya tidak cenderung malas, dan konsisten
dalam menjalankan ibadah. Sehingga nantinya dapat menjadi manusia yang
beriman, bertaqwa dan berakhlak mulia. Dalam hal ini Guru Pendidikan Agama
Islam memiliki peran penting untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan beribadah pada
peserta didik baik melalui proses kegiatan shalat dhuha maupun kegiatan
keagamaan lainnya yang ada di MTs Al-Fikri Kota Bogor. Tujuan memberikan
kesadaran diri pada peserta didik mengenai kewajiban beribadah agar selalu
semangat dalam menjalankan kegiatan beribadahnya dengan rasa ikhlas dan tanpa
ada rasa paksaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif,
dilaksanakan di MTs Al-Fikri Kota Bogor. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah peserta
didik, agar peserta didik disiplin dalam melakukan shalat sunnah dhuha di MTs Al
Fikri Kota Bogor. Informan pada penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru
Pendidikan Agama Islam dan peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan dalam
penelitian ini adalah observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Teknis analisisnya
menggunakan model analisis data, tahap yang ditempuh yaitu reduksi data,
penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa
penerapan disiplin peserta didik melalui kegiatan shalat dhuha di MTs Al-Fikri
Kota Bogor. Shalat Dhuha dilakukan setiap hari sebelum kegiatan belajar mengajar.
Program kegiatan shalat dhuha ini yang telah dibuat oleh Kepala Sekolah dan Guru
Pendidikan Agama Islam MTs Al-Fikri Kota Bogor, kemudian penerapan disiplin
peserta didik melalui kegiatan shalat dhuha dinyatakan efektif. Adapun nilai-nilai
kedisiplinan yang ditanamkan dalam kegiatan shalat dhuha yang menjadikan
peserta didik disiplin dalam melakukan ibadah shalat sunnah dhuha.

Discipline in carrying out Duha prayer activities is important for the
development of students, especially in matters of worship so that students get used
to doing Duha prayer activities so that they become disciplined from an early age
so that in adulthood they do not tend to be lazy, and are consistent in carrying out
their worship. So that later you can become a person who is faithful, devout and has
noble character. In this case, Islamic Religious Education Teachers have an
important role in improving the discipline of worship among students, both through
the process of Duha prayer activities and other religious activities at MTs Al-Fikri,
Bogor City. The aim is to provide students with self-awareness regarding the
obligation to worship so that they are always enthusiastic in carrying out their
worship activities with a sense of sincerity and without any sense of coercion. This
research uses qualitative descriptive research, carried out at MTs Al-Fikri, Bogor
City. The subjects in this research were students, so that students were disciplined
in performing the Sunnah Dhuha prayers at MTs Al-Fikri, Bogor City. The
informants in this research were school principals, Islamic Religious Education
teachers and students. The methods used in this research are observation,
documentation and interviews. The technical analysis uses a data analysis model,
the stages taken are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The
results of this research show that students apply discipline through Duha prayer
activities at MTs Al-Fikri, Bogor City. The Dhuha prayer is performed every day
before teaching and learning activities. This dhuha prayer activity program was
created by the Principal and Islamic Religious Education Teacher at MTs Al-Fikri
Bogor City, then the implementation of student discipline through the dhuha prayer
activity was declared effective. The values of discipline that are instilled in the
Dhuha prayer activities make students disciplined in performing the Sunnah Dhuha
prayer.
