Abstak
This study aims to determine teachers' perceptions of implementing the project-
based learning (PBL) method for students in creating infographic media
assignments. Infographics themselves are visual representations that combine
various information from data, graphs, or diagrams to convey information. Through
this media, students can be encouraged to collaborate and facilitated in learning
English writing in class. In addition, these infographics can be created using
application-based technology. The purpose of this study was to determine teachers'
perceptions regarding the use of infographics by the project-based learning method
applied in class to facilitate learning English writing in class. Data were obtained
through questionnaires and interviews. Participants in this study were 3 vocational
high school teachers. The results explain that Project- Based Learning (PBL)
through writing and designing infographics offers an interesting and effective
approach to language learning. This approach encourages collaboration,
motivation, and communication skills for students, especially when working in
groups, because they are encouraged to share ideas and work together to achieve
common goals.
