Vocabulary plays a crucial role in communication and is considered one of the
important aspects of the English language. Insufficient vocabulary knowledge can
impede the process of learning English. Technology can serve as a valuable
option for learning English vocabulary, as it provides various resources such as
language learning applications that can enhance vocabulary and language skills.
Quizlet is one such application that helps students learn vocabulary concepts
interactively and enjoyably. Understanding students' attitudes towards learning
activities is important, as their attitudes play a supportive role in achieving
learning goals. The present study aims to investigate students' attitudes towards
the use of the Quizlet application for vocabulary learning across each attitude
component. A qualitative research method was employed to conduct this study.
The participants are ten students of seven grade students. The researchers utilized
two research instruments, namely questionnaires and interviews. Following the
distribution of questionnaires, the researchers conducted interviews with five
students to obtain more detailed information. The findings of this study revealed
that students' most of the students implemented positive attitudes towards the use
of Quizlet in learning English vocabulary especially in the affective, cognitive
components. In both the affective and cognitive components, students displayed a
positive attitude toward using the Quizlet application for vocabulary learning.
However, that is indications of a negative attitude in the behavioral component
that students rarely used Quizlet as a tool for vocabulary learning.
