In this digital era, technology could be one of media that could help both of
teacher and students in teaching and learning process. Lately many teachers applied
online learning in teaching and learning process. One of the technologies in learning
English was by using Padlet- This research aimed at finding out the implemeniation
of collaborative writing with Padlet, patterns of collaborative writing that appeared,
and students' responses in English writing classroom. The qualitative and descriptive
case study was implemented as the research design in this research. The qualitative
data was collected using observation and interview. The population of this research
was students in Islamic Senior High School. Meanwhile, the sample of this research
was eleventh grade students in Islamic Senior High Schooi, as many as 30 students in
the class. The result of this research showed that the implementation of col!aborative
writing with Padlet worked effectively. Besides, the patterns that appeared when
implementing collaborative writing through Padlet are co-writing, co-publishing, co-
responding, co-editing, and writer-helping. In addition, students' responses were
good, they were interested and felt enjoy in using collaborative writing through
Padlet as a media in English writing classroom.
