Abstak

ABSTRACT
Along with the rapid development of technology, of course it becomes
important in the world of education to keep up with the flow of technological
developments, so that learning can continue to develop. Like learning a language
using MALL, one of which is Duolingo. In this study, the author will dig deeper
into students' perceptions of the use of Duolingo in facilitating speaking skills
involving 6 students at a junior high school in Bogor. The researcher conducted a
qualitative case study that presented the findings with two instruments, namely a
questionnaire closed-ended and an questionnaire open-ended. The results of this
study expressed a positive response that Duolingo can facilitate English speaking
skills, namely in terms of fluency, accuracy choice of word, comprehension, and
the use of correct sentence structures and grammatical.
