experiences during pandemic. One of the method applied is flipped classroom.
Flipped classroom is one of the reverse classroom learning methods, such as
combining two learning methods. For example, 1 month studying at home (online
class) using applications such as zoom meetings, Google meet, and other
supporting applications. Like gmail, google drive, and whatsapp. And if 1 month
has been carried out online learning, then 1 month later the learning method is
carried out face to face (face to face) learning. Carry out as the class runs as usual.
This study focuses on investigating the students’ attitude. The attitude that will be
emphasized in this study is regarding and to find out how students respond to this
reverse classroom learning method. What are the online classes and offline
classes? To find out how they respond and carry out learning in this flipped
classroom method. To find out the ability of students in online and offline
learning to further improve reading learning abilities or not. On learning reading
in flipped classroom and to what extent it affects students’ reading skill. A
qualitative study using case study design was applied, involving ten junior high
students as the respondents of the study. To get the data, questionnaire and
interview were applied. The study found ten students enjoyed the method. They
found flipped classroom gives improvement, efficiency, and flexibility in
learning. The impact that the students have are the improvement of text
understanding and new vocabularies. Flipped classroom also raises students’
interest in reading. They could choose reading such as novel, news, and comics.
The study implied that flipped classroom could be one of the alternative for
