This study was carried out to investigate how creating digital storytelling can relieve students' anxiety in speaking English, by using 12 steps in creating DST promoted by
Khomjani (2020) at vocational school in Bogor-West Java. The method used in this research is case study method with a qualitative. The participants were nine students of class X who were selected based on their English scores. The process of collecting data by observation and questionnaires becomes easier and focuses on the participants, so that data could be obtained accurately. Digital storytelling is combine the art of storytelling with technological and multimedia tools. Creating a DST helped students pay more attention to pronunciation, vocabulary and syntax and how to use their words appropriately, so creating digital storytelling videos it can be said that it can help students get rid of anxiety and also make participants more creative, enthusiastic and brave. The findings from this study show that there are children who could relieve their anxiety so they were more confident by believing in their abilities. Students have positive results towards creating digital stories, they coud relieve their anxiety in speaking English that made them confident, interested, and creative. The another results show that DST could improve their technological skills.
