One of the fun English learning activities for students is by watching strategy
such as watching video games, YouTube, etc., because this way students can
focus on English vocabulary. Students should gain focus on understanding
vocabulary. This study aims to find out the teachers’ responses to the learning of
vocabulary through viewing strategy. The research design used in this study is a
qualitative descriptive method. The participants in this study were five teachers
in fifth grade elementary public school. The instrument used in this research is
interview. Teachers’ interview response will achieve the aim to gain in-depth
information on student vocabulary acquisition experiences through viewing
strategy for vocabulary learning.
